So, this weekend was eventful. Got to the halfway mark in cleaning the kitchen, dining room, breakfast bar. Met KR's loved ones ML and LW. Well I had met ML before but D and I got to know them better. Though they were looking for a place to move into and have been having trouble because ML has a service animal. We loaned them a bit to help with a deposit if this place that called her back lets them have the place. In the mean time, the place they were staying (after they got evicted -illegally but they didn't want to keep fighting bogus evictions-) the person is throwing fits like a child because they won't clean up after the people they are staying with and since ML refuses to be a maid/ cook/all around slave on top of a real job and looking for a place yada yada yada. In the end said person told them they have to be out by the 1st. Like packed up and entirely moved out by then. Absurd. So, D and I decided they can stay with us. We know it's short term, they are good people, we have a lot in common with them, they can store stuff downstairs until they can fully move in to the new place, etc. And we know it's hard to find a decent apartment up here with even a caged animal, let alone a 70 lb dog and that people up here don't tend to follow the laws on service animals. I don't know if it's discrimination or just that they are uninformed but either way it sucks. We have room for them and rather than charge them 1k like this other person is we stick to reasonable to cover extra bills from guest use. so 400 for 2 people each with computers and each eating their meals with us, etc. We figure that covers electric, gas, laundry and food going up. It'll be a little more cramped but we don't want them to be in the shelter and have no place for the dog that is very important for ML to have. Besides we've been there having to stay with friends or at a shelter and it sux. Also ML works for the state like I do so she and I are sharing info on various drs that take our insurance. I can actually go get my hearing retested and potentially fixed thanks to her.

KR's hearing is tomorrow so that's tough too.

Still dealing with grandma's health issue. Still keeping busy.

Making dehydrated stuff to make soups.

I could go on on happenings but I'm out of break time just about so....

Today's game plan.
*Lunch - math and set appts and call VA about audit class
*Windows work
*Clean up and sort downstairs
*Clean up in kitchen
*Dehydrate more stuffs
