Life gets confusing, sometimes.

Monday, April 15, 2013

I don't know if I'm coming or going these days. I was told I was eligible for retirement and layoffs were on the horizon as veteran instructor of 12 years it was hard to take, I applied and was accepted for my retirement. Not that I wanted too, but it is better to retire than get laid off, I thought. The Board of Ed accepted it with congrats and nice things. So I was surprised within a few days the Superintendent calls to say you can't retire. So after talking with my DH I submit my reinstatement letter (had to search google for how-to) and I'm back where I was. So what was that 3 weeks all about? God Knows.... I'm happy I have my job and benefits for next year, it certainly was weird wondering what to do next since my DH isn't even considering retirement. God to the Rescue. God is good, He knows best, He works all things together for good to those who love him and are called according to His purpose. So Thanks be to God!

AMEN! That is faith in God, to take a step to see where He leads, then to see Him turn it around for you. Praising God with you. HUGS.

I love it when that happens. Just goes to show that God is so much more knowledgeable than man.

Hmmmm........three weeks off? Guess you could consider it vacation time! And you're right, God is in control and has a plan even when we don't always know what it is.

Kudos to you for not losing your temper. Nice to hear from someone who enjoys their job enough to not want to retire.
