An Update

My how time flies, whether you're having fun or not!

I'm still Shredding. I've been on Level 3 for a while now; in some ways it's easier than Level 2. And in some ways, it's harder. I do not do the jumping stuff-- for the most part my knees don't bother me but I'm not stupid enough to push my luck on that. I'm no spring chicken.

By my calculations (since I don't Shred every day) I've got 5 more sessions to do, and then I'll take my ending measurements. I've found that Jillian exaggerates a bit, on how much progress we should be seeing-- she says "you should be seeing that 6-pack now", for example. And that's silly, as a 6-pack has as much if not more to do with body fat percentage than exercise.

I do, however, feel more toned. DH has even noticed. And this is a man who will see me every day for a week before he notices I've had my hair cut.

Got out the summer clothes and tried on last year's capri pants-- I don't know why it still amazes me that stuff still fits. I guess it's because every other time I "dieted", by now I'd be gaining the weight back. (Thank you, SparkPeople.)

Meanwhile we've been working on getting the garden in and the yard looking good. Fruit trees we planted last fall, all made it through the winter and are getting leaves. Bought some fake apples to tie on the apple trees, so I can text my sister a picture and see if I can convince her they're real.

I am so grateful that spring is finally here, I can't hardly stand it. Remind me in August when it's almost 100 outside with 80 something percent humidity, that I was really anxious for some warm weather.
