Hmmm weight is still the same and I didn't measure - I'd used the get out of jail card on Sunday and I know that although the choices were good, the portions were brilliant, and everything was low sodium, there were probably more trips back for additional tastings at the Food Festival. I have no intention of beating myself up over this. I'm thinking that this is a good place to be - my DBB has told me several times that I was looking ill when I got down to my dream goal weight. Perhaps I should listen to him and to my BFF, but I will keep on doing the healthy stuff and being accountable to Energy Buddy and all of you

I did! Weight the same, arm up 3/4 inch, rib up 1/2 inch, abdomen up 1/2 inch, hips up 1/4 inch. Feeling and looking better though.

Something like 40g per day of sugar cut from no cola.... but something isn't taking any more weight off - like I said I don't have lots to lose but I did expect to see a few pounds gone.

I am finding that food presentation (like pretty plates) does make eating more fun. Your request for pics has made lunch time especially more fun - and I think about it more because I don't want "bad stuff" to creep into my pics!

Am eating more fruits and veggies - but not all "sweet" type. I don't add extra sugar usually, if I do it's usually a bit of honey. Protein is still on track. Fat has not been increased, if anything I'm eating less "unhealthy" fats and more of the "healthy" fats, with an overall decrease in fat. I've ditched most of the white carbs and while some pass through my lips, really it is honestly just a taste. I don't fry much, and lately I've been eating tonnes of raw and fresh stuff, hardly any processed - especially compared to what I used to (and even then it wasn't nearly as much as many do)

I don't always track my food in the tracker, but I check my meals, especially those I don't already know the count on. My cals are between 1500-2000 a day, usually around 1800.

I'm not exercising heavily right now, but am walking, doing a bit of yoga, light weights in my strength training.

I'm not dissatisfied with my results exactly, but I am a little surprised. I even measure twice as I was surprised that anything other than my arms increased. The next 2 weeks will be interesting and I'm going to try to track a bit more seriously just incase I'm missing something obvious.

However, Day 15 - No white carbs, no cola, only 1 black tea (it was close again though), breakfast was not before 10:00 though- but I did eat protein and I did have it before 11:00 and I had lunch a little later too - so it all sort of worked out. Breakfast will be before 10:00 today though!

Went back to work today after 2 weeks off and my coughing got
so bad I came home early. Can't get in to the doctor till Thursday.
I think I have gained 100 grams, Boo hoo. Lack of exercise and
no motivation. My measurements are the same.
I have one more week before I am allowed to exercise
and I can't wait to get my motivation back. I will try and get a photo
to you. we can recuperate together Mel. Get well soon. emoticon emoticon emoticon

    You're doing great, Mel!!! emoticon
I can't wait to see the Life of Pi - I loved the book! emoticon
    Did you like it?

I really loved the photo blog of all those delicious looking meals..yummy!!!
And I was inspired to send you a food photo, so check your email.

I did my weigh and measure today, and I'm thinking that I'm about the same on weight. the scale says I gained 2lbs, but I don't believe it. Today was the beginning of my TOM and I'm super bloated. So, Ima ignore the scale for now
As for inches, however, my arm, waist, and abdomen are down, while most other measurements are the same as last time. Oddly, my thigh and calf are up...maybe I'm building muscle???

I am happy to be down 2 pounds, and hope for another 3 by the end of April.
Don't worry, Nina, it takes a while to pick up momentum, in March I lost nothing the first 2 weeks, then 2 pounds by the end of the month, and I think that I will be able to meet my 5 pound loss goal by the end of April.
Life of Pi, by a Canadian author, the book is so spectacular no one dared to make a movie of it, until Ang Lee

Hope you are feeling much better Mel, so sweet your DH got you the book you wanted

Well weight is the same as it was after Easter, and measurements are interesting:
waist is the same, hips up by 1/4 inch, and these measurements are down:
calf, upper arm, chest, abs, mid thigh.
Anckle is the same as it was - I doubt that its is ever going to change, I don't tend to pack on weight there unless retaining water or

Checking in. Not doing well at this point but haven't lost my spirit or drive to improve before the end of the challenge.
Lost 1 inch. I'm having a hard time not overdoing the nuts/nut butters, fruit.
Getting plenty of protein but need to find the balance between fat/protein.
Doing my exercises every day, eating super healthy but I think too much fat is making me stay the same. Staying off grain/sugars and have used my "get-out -of -jail" card when appropriate last weekend.
So, I have not given up but will re-evaluate my meals and work on finding balance .
Hoping you're all doing great. emoticon
    Have a great week!

Feel better soon and I hope you get into your new book - it's been life changing for me :)
April 15th weigh-in: 134.6 down 0.4 despite a vacation with lots of good food and I'm 0.4 below goal!
Inches lost: 1/2" overall (1/4" each waist and hips)
Exercise has been very hit and miss and that is going to be my focus for the next 2 weeks!

    I remembered!
I lost 2 lbs since April 1st. I have also lost a combined 3.25 inches. 2 of those inches are from the waist and abs, so that makes me feel better. This is definitely my target zone right now postpartum.

My goal of hitting the gym 2x's per week has not worked out well. Actually, I haven't been to the gym 1 time since the start of this challenge. I'm still working out, just not at the gym.

There are 6 weeks until our swimming pool opens (in the apartment complex I live in). We spend a lot of time at the pool in the daughter is even a lifeguard there. So I really need to keep that in mind when thinking about workouts and especially when thinking about food!
Time to get as serious as I can with my diet while still eating healthy to breastfeed.

I'll try to send in a new picture soon!

I hope you are feeling better Mel!
And to my fellow challenge teammates, we're only half way through, we still have another 15 days to prove to ourselves just how emoticon we are!!
