Fed up!

Monday, April 15, 2013

I'm really discouraged. I cannot get the scale to move at all! I have gone a few weeks measuring my food, logging in and exercising and NOTHING! I just want this to leave! My coworker did Weighnot and lost weight really fast. It is very strict and expensive but I'm really tempted to do it. I'm just tired of trying.

Thanks all! I appreciate the support! I feel better and have decided to try to stay away from prepared foods and sugar and be diligent. I also need to kick up the exercise more. I'll get there! Thanks for your help!

Sandy, hang on in there, don't give up. I recently changed my diet a bit because I felt I was stuck in a rut and nothing seemed to be working for me. I have tried to cut out a lot of sugar foods and wheat. I feel so much better and have lost a few pounds along the way. It is slow going, but feeling less bloated makes me feel a lot better. I also found a good site called Easy to log in your food for the day and find out how many calories you are eating.

I hope some of this helps. emoticon

My guess is that she will probably gain it back - you have to do something that you can sustain. It's better to learn what to do in the real world, without prepared foods or whatever the diet was that your co-worker did.

    Don't give up. emoticon
    You're doing the right stuff!

Don't give up. Sometimes it takes the body a while to kick into higher metabolism mode. It WILL happen. Try measuring while you wait. You may not be losing weight because you are gaining muscle mass and this will show by using the measuring tape.

Remember everyone is an happens at various timeframes. So go back to the basics....have you been tracking everything you eat and drinking the minimum of 64 oz of water oper day?

Give yourself a break as it has only been 2 weeks, your body is adjusting to the change and it will come off if you stick to your basics

Don't give up and throw in the towel. I eat a plant based diet and eat meat ( chicken ) once a week. I try to stay away from sugar and grain as well. Just keep moving forward one step at a time. You have to find what works for you and it's going to take time. You didn't put the weight on overnight so it's going to take time to get the weight off. Tinker with the food and exercise and you will find your nitch.
