Good night following a good day.

It's been a bit of a weird one today. I may not have achieved many cleaning goals but the reflection and research will make up for that. My son got very emotional today when I said I might need some help. He broke down crying and asked why I eat so much chocolate. If that's not a motivator I don't know what it! The key is to remember these moments for the tough times. Those times when you've had a stressful day, the kids are playing up and all you want is a chocolate fix. Yes, it is my equivalent of a cigarette but what I have to teach myself is that emotional eating can be just as deadly as smoking.

I am a chocoholic as well as an emotional eater. It is kinda like being an alcoholic - so I have to retrain my mind so I turn to something other than chocolate when an emotional low hits. emoticon
