Last night I ran 10 miles on the treadmill instead of following my training program. I vowed to take saturday and sunday off from exercise. That won't be difficult considering I have a small painful glitch in my left hip. I dont think it is anything serious and the more I walk on it, the less pain I feel. I think as I was getting tired at around mile 5 or 6 I started changeing my gait a little and that magnified the issue. So, I have two days to recover and then resume my program on monday. Monday is an easy day anyway since I just need to strength train and do some extra stretching. Looking forward to our first race of the year April 27. Still searching for a half. I think I may have found a couple great races.
