April 12-Gave In Yesterday

I was hungry. I was tired. My husband said pizza. I caved without even thinking. It could have been much worse. I have been known to eat a whole large pizza by myself. I had two slices of a medium pepperoni, half the parmesan bread bites with garlic butter, 3/4 of the cinnasticks and two big glasses of cherry coke. I kept it in check the rest of the day though. No random snacking. A healthy baked chicken salad for dinner. Honestly, I am mostly disappointed in myself for the pop. I had been doing so well in cutting it out.
Oh well. That was yesterday. Today is a new day and I will not give in to temptation! Of course it helps that I have a better plan for today!
One last thing I want to share my review for this recipe I found on pinterest.
I followed this recipe exactly, but it turned out nothing like the picture. I even had to let it bake an extra 15 minutes. It turned out more like a baked oatmeal than anything even semi close to a coffee cake. I still liked it, although my serving was a bit much. My 17 month old also loved it. She ate more than me! My husband and 3 year old each had a bite. That was it. I'm pretty sure Shane turned a few shades of green too. If I make it again, I will definitely need to change it a bit. Maybe add some eggs or almond meal. I give this a C.
