Day 60 - Friday Food Prep (Primal Edition)

It's Friday, not Sunday, but I am prepping food! I am going out of town this weekend and wanted to have all of my food ready to go (simultaneously stocking the fridge for my ravenous body-building bf to eat while I'm away).

I made...
-Low-Sodium Breakfast Sausage

-1 Dozen Hard-Boiled Eggs
-Sliced Strawberries (froze half for smoothies)
-Cut-up Carrots, Celery, and Bell Peppers for Dipping in Hummus

-Roasted Turkey Breast & Legs covered in Herbed Butter

Simmered Leeks & White Mushrooms

-Swiss Chard w/ Basil, Pine Nuts, & Golden Raisins

-Mashed Cauliflower w/ Butter, Cream, & Garlic Mustard

-Caramelized Brussel Sprouts w/ Bacon & Dijon

-Cinnamon Roasted Butternut Squash

-Baked Kale Chips sprinkled w/ Fleur de Sel & Sesame Seeds

No-Bake Strawberry Chocolate Macaroons

(I liked these better after freezing them!)

-Frozen Yogurt Fruit Pops (I simmered some blueberries with a bit of lemon juice, folded that into some unpasteurized, grass-fed yogurt, and froze the mixture in this cute silicone mold:

Meal plan for next week:
I saved most of these veggies in the fridge/freezer, and I have have tons of frozen meat to choose from... Primal eating is so easy! I now have pretty much all of our meals for the next week and a half completed, all from one evening of cooking. The best part? The bf did the dishes!
