Why do I exercise?

Yesterday, one of the blogs from Sparkpeople claimed 100 reasons to exercise now. Well, I wanted to see what was applicable to me. Below is what is I believe are the my personal reasons why I exercise:

1. Because I want to feel confident
2. Because I want to become stronger
3. Because I have goals to reach
4. Because it burns more calories than not working out
5. Because I want a great butt
6. Because I want to feel and look good in my clothes
7. Because I want to look better
8. Because strong is the new skinny
9. Because it helps me to lose unwanted weight
10. Because it helps me de-stress
11. Because I want to take care of myself
12. Because I want to start taking pride of my body
13. Because I want sleep better at night
14. Because it gives me energy
15. Because I want toned arms
16. Because I want to breathe easier, especially going up stairs
17. Because I want to see that darn scale drop
18. Because I am worth it
19. Because I promised myself that I would
20. Because it will help me like what I see in the mirror
21. Because it makes clothing shopping more fun (what girl doesn’t like to shop every once in awhile LOL!)
22. Because I want to look and feel incredible
23. Because I do not want to let myself go
24. Because it strengthens my spirit
25. Because I need a reason to wear new workout clothes
26. Because I’m tired of being tired
27. Because I made a commitment to myself
28. Because I’m tired of starting over
29. Because I want to boost my metabolism
30. Because I want to be stronger than my excuses

Now, I started the Insanity workouts, which I ask myself every time prior to starting “Why the heck am I doing this to myself?” So, here are my reasons:

1. Because I want to be proud of myself
2. Because it makes me feel accomplished
3. Because it strengthens my legs
4. Because I want to push myself
5. Because I am capable of more than I ever imagined
6. Because I want to do real push-ups
7. Because I am not a quitter
8. Because if I can do this, I can do anything
9. Because I want the flapping of my thighs to stop (this not from Sparkpeople)

These are the reasons why I exercise. What are yours?
