Failing miserably

My goals for this month are:
1. Eat nothing after 8PM. Eat a lighter supper (less protein helps me sleep better).

2. Aim for low-end of calorie range.

I just lost the blog I intended to post. I hate it when that happens!!
But in a few words, I'll recap what I tried to say:

I'm blowing both #1 & #2 of my 5 goals for April. (#3 - 5 are doing just fine)
Probably due to time change giving more daylight and we're doing stuff outside and not getting in for dinner until later.

Then when I do eat, I'm starved and eat too much, putting me at the high end of my calories.

OR I if I have a snack before I go out, it still increases my calorie count.

My weight is still bouncing in the 'safe' range, so I'm not gaining . . . but I'm not losing either.

What to do . . . .

    You're doing just fine. It takes time to make a change to your lifestyle.

    Try eating a hard boiled egg. That's what I usually take for a snack when I go to work. The protein keeps you fuller longer. Try adding more protein to your diet, it does fill you up more.

    How about eating dinner before you go out and do things? Then just a piece of fruit or a low cal greek yogurt for an evening snack.

    You need to play around with the timing of your meals and snacks you will get this figured out.

    Do not give up!

    Try a hard-boiled egg as a snack now and again. Filling and a shot of protein.

    The month is only 1/3 over. Don't be hard on Yourself at all. Be Proud of all your Accomplishments, Goals and Weight You Have Loss so far.     I agree you are not failing. You know the problems you are having and you know you have to make some changes. Don't give up on yourself. You can get yourself back on track.

    At least you are conscious about you not meeting all of your goals. Now you know what you'll have to do to change it. But don't be too hard on yourself, be proud of the goals you have met! emoticon

    Track everything and try to eat every 3-4 hours. We do the same thing when we start working in the garden. Take care.

    I am not losing, but not gaining now either. Stuck in limbo. Can't seem to lose what I gained back. Just stuck.

    My sleep cycle has not adjusted yet. I wish they would just pick one time and stick with it instead of changing back and forth.

    Do not say you are failing. You have set goals and you are mindful of them, enough to recognize that you didn't quite reach them.....this time. You blogged about it.

    Keep trying. Nothing worth having is ever easy.
