I was off track so long I got used to eating a lot again. I also got used to overindulging in yummy but bad for you carbs. I am a carb addict. I don't do well on plans that allow bread, pasta and other such things(I am a person that needs a plan!). I go overboard way to easily. Instead, my carb intake needs to be made up of veggies and fruits. Ok and my one teaspoon of sugar in my coffee or tea, but that is only once a day! Now that I am switching back to healthy living, my cravings are killing me! I so wanted ice cream last night. I was seriously debating whether to put pants on or not. My husband wasn't helping either! He was dang near begging me to go to the store. Luckily, laziness won out. It was late and I was comfy in my jammies. I did give in to a big bowl of oatmeal though. Oatmeal is my go to carb treat. Unfortunately, now I'm out. The girls' cereal is also out. That is my second go to. It's a fairly healthy cereal that tastes good. So I may be acting like a crack addict going through detox come 8 pm tonight. If I can just power through these first few weeks and let myself detox from all the sugars I will be fine. Unfortunately, willpower isn't my strong suit. In fact, most nights I feel like Smeagol and carbs are my precious. If I get on here in a carb detox induced haze please ignore the rantings of a semi mad woman.
