Good workout yesterday. Rest Day today.

Happy Hump Day,
Yesterday I managed to stay well within calorie range (the low end). We went out to eat and I got a nice Sicilian Salad, so good. Also managed to get in OVER 8 cups of water. YAY
Yesterday I worked really hard on the treadmill for my first 15 mins wanted to get to at least 3/4 of a mile and managed get to a distance of 0.81, and I was really sweating after that. That is a record for me in a 15 min time period. Then my second 15 mins I did 0.71. Got in over a mile and a half. Woohoo. My shins were really sore and still are a little. Anyone have any cures for the shin splints or ways to lessen the pain? Or will it go away eventually as I work my way up.
Thats why I opted not to come in early this morning for a treadmill workout. Though my workout buddy was not happy I didnt show up. ooops
So that plan today is to skip the A.M walk and do a light walk later on today, on the treadmill for 15 mins.
And I have most of my calories for today already tracked, so I should end the day within calorie range.
Hope you are having nice weather. It has been in the 70's/80's this week. So nice.
