Checking in

Tuesday, April 09, 2013

So nothing really new to report, just checking in with you all. I got the scale moving again. Just had to put the Easter Candy down and exercise more!

I wanted to say thanks for everyone who responded to my last video. It's nice to be in a place where there is so much support! I got a lot of really good and yummy ideas from you all. Also a lot of you seemed concerned that I might quit, but that's not the case. I know it is better to maintain than gain AND this is too important for me to stop here. 163 for my height still leaves me at the heavier end of the overweight category, and I want to be fit and healthy.

Also I mentioned the new group I joined. I'm linking the group page in case anyone else wants to join.

Till next time!

Wow, you're doing a lot of exercise!

As you mentioned, I need to change up my exercise routine. I've been trying to branch out into other things, so I'm anxious to see if it does any good. I'm hopeful. =)

Glad you got away from the Easter candy!

I am so glad your scale is going down! Our bodies are so darn smart and get used to certain exercises so we have to change it up. I love your videos! They are great!!!

Zumba, one the most funnest lol ways to work out :-) Dance just makes me feel so great. I just focus on the music and by the time it's over, I can't believe I've done 45 mins :-)

Sounds like you are doing a great job with your exercise, and any little weight loss is great! Oatmeal cookies aren't so bad if you can include them in your calorie range. Have a great week and keep Sparking! emoticon

Great job! I also recently had to up my fitness. I'm doing Zumba 2 days a week for 60 minutes each time. I go jogging with my husband and our dog 3 days a week for about half an hour. I know that I need to also add strength in there somewhere, but it just hasn't happened yet. It will soon though :)
Keep up the hard work. It WILL pay off!
