Just want to cry

Tuesday, April 09, 2013

I'm having one of them days. My cousin passed away yesterday from cancer. He was an awesome person. Never had a bad word to say. I gained a lb this week. Just want to go back to bed and pull the covers over my head. emoticon

Sometimes we need to hide under the covers and that's ok.
I think the idea of doing a 5K in his honor is great though. Late spring is the time they have "Relays for Life" where I live and they are very moving. You don't have to walk the whole thing- just a part of it.

I just want to give you a hug. Grief is natural. Give into tears and emotions. I like what 3G1rls4Me advised. Come up with ways to honor his life.

Praying for comfort for you during this horrible time.

I'm sorry for your loss. Losing someone you love can be so difficult. It happened to me a few years ago. Unfortunately I let it consume my life and in turn, I consumed everything to eat around me. They wouldn't want that from us. They would want us to be healthy and happy. In my experience, I think it's okay to be sad and it's natural. But we should try not to comfort ourselves with food, it only hurts us in the long run.

    Stay strong.

I have lost a dear sister to cancer. She was younger than me and it is a HARD thing to lose someone you love! Just know that God is there to comfort and strengthen you! I'm praying he will give you that peace of mind that passes all understanding!

As far as your diet, just do the best you can and give yourself a break from any pressure! Talk to yourself as you would to a best friend! emoticon

I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my grandmother this past August to cancer and I still have those days sometimes.

One thing I have learned..those who have passed ..we will be able to meet them again..Just now the Lord has a work for them . May you be blessed in your sorrow..and know the Lord is watching over you..and your loved ones.
    Find peace through Him..!

Sorry your cousin died, you should do something in his honor like jogging/ walking a five k and on the day of the race wear a shirt of either his favorite color or color of cancer that he died from. "Keep charging" it'll take time for the grief to lessen but you'll be ok and see him again in heaven. emoticon
