Nine day streak

Day nine of sparkin'. I've gotten into the habit of getting up every morning, spinning the wheel and doing 25 points worth of sparks so that I can spin the second time before I go to work. I do this while I eat my breakfast. Eating breakfast is a key to success for me. A good breakfast of about 250 calories lets me start my day feeling powerful. I also want to be sure to reach out and encourage someone. The social support on SP is what makes this site so great. Also, I have been posting a blog every day to journal my journey and to hopefully get a little social support for myself.

Every day but yesterday I have gotten at least one encouraging comment on my blog. I was a little disappointed that I didn't get a comment yesterday, so I thought: I'd better go check on my friends who have posted blogs and read them so that I can encourage them. What a joy that turned out to be!

Here I thought I was doing them a little favor to go visit their blogs to leave a comment, but I was just as encouraged by reading their blogs as I was by the comments on my own! One of my friends posted sunrise and garden pictures. What a beautiful way to start the day. Another friend posted a beautiful sentiment about peace and love. Others gave reports on their challenges and triumphs. It was wonderful.
