So...I dusted off the scale today...

Do you know what I found? I have gained 14 pounds since I last logged my weight here at SparkPeople back in Oct. 2012.

Weight wise, I look kinda like I did back in this picture, May of 2008, when I was 5 pounds down from my highest weight ever...

I'm now 3 pounds ABOVE that. Just TWO LITTLE POUNDS back to where I started SparkPeople FIVE years ago! That should be depressing but...

At one time I would have been highly depressed over this, especially since I am almost back to the very weight I was when I first started. Instead of feeling depressed this time I'm actually feeling IRRITATED and ANGRY at myself for not sticking to something. I've frittered away so much time...

One thing is fore sure, I'm not ever giving up.....NOT EVER! So, yes, I'm back. I know you probably don't believe me, and I don't blame you for that, but TIME WILL TELL. I promise you that one year from now I will be at least half way down to my goal weight but I'm SHOOTING FOR THE MOON instead! :)

So, once again, this is it...2013 is MY year! GO ME! :) (And this year I mean it!)

Primary Goal for 2013: 50 pounds down by Christmas day.

Start Date: 4/10/13

Mini Goals:

~1st: 10 pounds by my birthday on May 7th.

~2nd: 15 pounds by 4th of July. (25 total)

~3rd: 10 pounds by my anniversary August 5th. (35 total)

~4th: 10 pounds by November 5th. (45 total)

~5th: 5 pounds by Christmas Day 2013. (50 total)

My game plan is to start with a Reboot like the one in Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead. My goal is for a 10 day fast. I'll see how I feel at the end of that and make new decisions from there. Oh how I wish I had the will power to do the 60 day fast, but I decided to work in baby steps since it's such a huge commitment. At this point, ten days seems like a year!

I just ordered my juicer a few minutes ago and it should be here tomorrow. I'll be picking up my veggies later today in preparation for it. If anyone has any good juice recipes for a beginner please point me to them. I'm not sure which one I want to start with.

I plan to eventually go back to eating McDougall which is a very low to no fat, vegetarian diet. I've done it before and I truly love the food so I know it's doable for me. I feel so great when I am pure McDougalling. (No cheating.) I actually had a great McDougall day yesterday and I already feel so much better about myself!

So it begins again...this time with a Reboot...bring it... emoticon
