Not sure what happened, but I kicked it into high gear today. It was gorgeous outside - clear skies & sunny and warm! I had no excuses and I didn't have to force myself to get moving - I actually wanted to!
I went for a nice walk during my lunch break; then after work, I did 30 minutes on the elliptical. I created a plan for the next 3 months, with a different workout each day - some days are easy, some a little tougher. Hopefully I mixed it up enough so I won't get bored.
I ate really well today - I made a real effort to include more fruits & veggies into my diet. I had blueberries with my breakfast. I had grapes with my lunch and I liked it! I'm so used to eating chips with my lunch and I thought I could never let the chips go, but I did and don't even miss them! For my snack later, I had a small plate with carrots, cucumber slices, crackers (organic) and dip. And our veggie tonight was asparagus.
I'm feeling really great. I'm super-proud of myself for 1) exercising again and 2) eating more fruits & veggies!
