Easter Reset - and Hubby is along for the ride!!!
Monday, April 08, 2013
Today is the day.....the day I threw the Easter chocolate in the trash and hit the reset button. The day AFTER I spent hours at the grocery store stocking up on all of those healthy foods we actually enjoy but had allowed to dwindle out. AND, the day my husband is willing to join me on this journey. Two people working together, living together and eating together nearly round the clock really need to be on the same page regarding what they will be eating. I am SO grateful that I have been successful enough on my own that he is gonna give it a try.
So, here are the goals for this week.
1. water water water......still struggling with this a little but I have found that adding a little green tea to my afternoon helps me get to goal without too much drama.
2. 5 days of workout. I was a wimp today and only did a mile, but I have plans to do the 2 mile biggest loser, and a three mile day with Leslie this week.
3. Find time for those extra moments. My most successful weeks included lots of quickie fitness moments......incline pushups against the desk while my tea water warmed, squats during the next cup, and step ups on the curb while I waited for my dogs to go potty. Those moments need to make a daily come back this week.
4. Show my husband that this lifestyle WILL be worth the drama of the first 10 days or so. It is HARD to make changes and he is so extreme. It is time for him to get on track and find what works for him. My job is to support, cheer and NEVER EVER tempt him to do something naughty just because I want to. My cravings are not his problem.
Have a great week everyone!!
