Well the birthday party was a huge hit!
And we had a spy movie on backup in case the kids got bored, but it was not needed at all!
Here is secret agent MOM who pulled it off :
To start the party we had a secret agent photo booth, and then we played Shoot the toilet roll, with nerf guns, then we played defuse the "bomb" and it was so cool. My husband had made a paper "bomb" with wires and light motion sensors that flashed if the "bomb" moved. So each kid had to try "defuse" the bomb in the least time!
Anway that was a hit!
And then we strung streamers back and forth like "lazer beams" and the person who got through them all without touching got a prize. Oh and we also played broken spy telephone!
Then there was cake, chips and cookies, and juice, and then the kids wanted to continue to play! In the meanwhile we printed off the photo booth pics and put them in a magnetic frame for each kid as part of their loot bag.
Needless to say I was exhausted by the end and the noise level with 11 kids and 3 adults in our tiny house was something else!
Anyway I did not have any cake, I don't usually eat the birthday cakes I make, if I did that I would be as big as a house, and frankly once you have tasted one, you have tasted them all, I make them the same way every time!
Today we took DD out for lunch and I had salmon and salad and veggies for lunch, brought the pasta home for Dh for his lunch tomorrow!
Yesterday my pre party smoothie really helped me get through it!
here is a link for the latest 30 Day Challenge blog and you will like this one if you are bored with your hummus!
Tomorrow is a new week and I am going to pay particular attention to my nutrition, I HAVE To make the time to prepare so that I don't get over hungry! My new favorite thing are those baby peppers that are so sweet! I guess I need to look into seeing if they are GMO or just baby peppers? Anyone know?
