Sunday, Funday plus a weigh in!

Today I don't have much to do so it will be a perfect day to spend at the park until the April rain decides to come. All the kids are getting ready to go. We are going to eat there, play and then go for a nice walk on the nature trail again. They really enjoy it and it gives me a chance to get out a little for some fresh air and exercise. I really want to be able to do more but I think for a while I want to stick to walking. I have started a faster walk for about a mile. It is suppose to rain every day this week but only showers and not all day. I am hoping to be able to walk at least 5 times this week. I still don't know how to get on a routine for exercising.
Tonight my youngest daughter has girl scouts and I am going to go to the grocery store while she is there to get some items for my meals this week. I find it is easier to go without the kids so they don't pile the junk in the cart.
So today was weigh in day for me and I am proud to say that I have lost 3.6 pounds this week. So far I have lost 9.6 pounds in the first 2 weeks of changing my eating habits and walking a few days a week. My plan is to continue to keep with my meal plans, walk at least 5 days a week and slowly start a better workout plan. I don't have a gym membership right now and not sure when I will get one but maybe I can do some video's on this site or some dvd's.
I am right on track for my weight loss plan, I want to lose 30 pounds by June 30th because I have booked our family vacation. We are leaving on June 30th to fly to Florida where we will spend a week with my family, then my mom is going to watch the kids while my husband and I go on our first cruise together on July 6th. We are so excited to be on going on a vacation alone. We have never been alone even when we were dating because I always had my oldest 2 daughters so this will be a first for many things.
