Wow, only 4 Rules?

I subscribe to several blogs and newsletters; I don't always have time to read them when they first come in but I try to scan through them right away and many of them get saved to read later. This week, the inbox was particularly overwhelming and I had to be a little less judicious in what I chose to save for later. A lot of interesting things got deleted; there will be more interesting things coming!!
Enter Wayne Dyer. Somehow he always shows up when I'm not looking for him. (I may have shared my story of seeing him recently on QVC. I never watch QVC, it's not even programmed on my list of "favorite channels." That night when I turned on the TV, I hit the wrong number for the station I wanted and there he was!!)
So here I am trying to purge my inbox and going through my emails really, really fast and there he was, buried in a bunch of articles. I didn't see his name at first; I saw the title"Four Rules for Living" and thought, "Only 4? This one should go quickly!"
The article is attached below; if you're like me and don't have time to read it, here are the 4 Rules. I particularly like the idea that they can apply to how you treat yourself in the same way as how you treat others.
1. Reverence for all life
2. Natural sincerity
It's amazing to me that so much is summed up in those 4 Rules. I believe that anything, any goal is achievable when we live those 4 Rules.
(Oh, you know you want to read it. It's not long!!)
There's an older church song called Let There Be Peace on Earth. I've played and sang it many times over the years; today, as I apply the 4 Rules to my own life, I'm focused on the second half of the first line of the song:
Let it begin with me.
Have a great Sunday, filled with love. After all, don't those 4 rules all come from the roots of love?
