Days 4-5: Kill ALL the things!

"Day 4 dawns ... your head is surprisingly clear. Your limbs all feel functional. This could be a good day! You walk into the kitchen and as you’re greeted by the smiling face of your significant other you are suddenly overcome…with the desire to punch them in the face for smiling this early in the morning. Congratulations! You’ve made it to day 4."

Thankfully this did not happen for me... honestly it could be because hubby and I are on opposite shifts :)

Food for the day:
frittata, side of cabbage roll casserole and quac
grass fed organic burger + zucchini strings and side of cabbage roll casserole
two eggs on a bed of zucchini strings with organic pastured bacon (awesome!) tastes just like I remember from my childhood.

two litres of water through the day and only 2 cups of tea! I can't seem to tolerate coffee anymore and I thought I was a totally died in the wool coffee drinker!

26 days to go!

thanks for the comments and the support! I'm at day 16 today, and waiting for the burst of energy... because I just feel tired all the time. DEAD TIRED... I haven't been to the gym at all these last two weeks.. no energy. To be honest the cravings are not completely gone, but I refuse to act on them. I am totally committed to doing 30 days... day 31 is another story :) I'd love to hear about your 30 days. I hope the exhaustion goes away.
    take care.... Hilda

You are so funny, it really takes a great sense of humor nowadays to get threw anything!!! I started eating paleo on March 18, 2013 almost a month ago!!! so in just 4 short days I will officially have completed my 30 days and I feel great... let me tell you that before paleo I was eating everything in sight (EVERYTHING)... What attraced me about paleo is the fact that its eating clean and not a fad diet that can only be done for one or two weeks because you run the chances of organ
This way of eating has aliminated my cravings for sugar and bread. I have so much energy that I go to the gym 5 days a week and I sleep better and of course I lost 18 pounds (thats a bonus)lol.. It also helps that I have a buudy along the way (My husband) he doesnt need to lose weight but wants to get leaner. Its motivational to also read about other people on this same journey and I hope we can share progress and food tips.. I love veggies now!!! wish you the very best on your journey... emoticon emoticon
