It's been a few days.

It's been a few days since I have last blogged. Monday was a nice day but it was too wet to go to the park since it rained on Sunday. Tuesday we were going to go to to the park since it was supposed to be rainy yesterday and today. I had the window cracked open in the dining room and I went into the bathroom and Elijah opens the door with the neighbor's cat. He popped the screen out of the window and crawled thru. While I was cleaning the sliding doors Elijah was by the window and then he pops the screen again and went outside. After that I decided we weren't going to go to the park. He popped the screen out of the window three more times on Tuesday and once yesterday. Not exactly sure why he was popping the screen out. Since yesterday was chilly and it had rained til the morning we stayed inside for most of the day. We had gone out a few times to check the mail and to wait for my mom. Not sure what the weather is going to be like. Monday Elijah was up before 5am and took an hour nap and was up until midnight but he slept until 10 and probably would have slept later if I didn't wake him up. Then bedtime was at 9 on Tuesday and he got up before 6 yesterday and mom brought him into my room and he went back to sleep until almost 10 and bedtime was at 9 again last night. Thanks to the lovely upstairs neighbor Elijah woke up at 6:30 today. Her youngest son's room is right about Elijah's room and Monday thru Friday she pounds on his door to wake him up for school and she starts pounding on his door between 6 and 6:30. Sometimes I can hear it in my room. Makes me angry because my kid doesn't have to be up that early and there are better and quieter ways to wake up a kid. I might be getting a new computer after we move. We are getting money from when mom's ex husband totaled his car since he didn't bother taking her name off of anything after we moved so she's getting half of the money. I am a little excited about moving and getting a different environment and new things to explore. I am hoping to get a place that's walking distance from different places so I can start applying for jobs. Mom and I are both going to get new computers if there's enough money left over. My computer isn't the same since the virus was on it and hers is starting to die. I am going to do some crunches and leg lifts today. I need to start doing that. Hopefully by the end of the week we can go to the park a couple of times so I can get some walking in.

It's supposed to be a sunny day. So far it's gloomy. We were able to take a couple of walks outside yesterday. Good to get outside in the fresh air. Elijah played in the dirt.

A lot on your mind, but think of sunnier days and get those workouts in. I always feel better once I do a good workout, inside, on a gloomy day.
The problem I have, is getting started.
So....I say OK, I will only work out 5 minutes. well guess what? I always end up working out more! Feels great and then I gulp down a glass of water. Feeling even better, now...then I eat a healthy meal or snack and BOOM! Moving it towards a better day and a better me.
    Feel better my friend.

Cold and rainy weather can create a gloomy environment. Hang onto your dreams and keep working at them. One day at a time - sometimes even one hour at a time - can get you through. It sounds as though life is taking better turns for you now. Good luck on pursuing those goals!
