Another nice day!

Had today off work so Mom and I had our Perkins breakfast and hit the road. We stopped and visited with a gun club member who is in a Senior Living facility and gave him his 2013 membership card and chatted for a bit. He is 92 and unable to come to the club due to dementia, but we had a nice short visit. I think giving him the membership card helped him to focus on the gun club where he was very active in years past. I told him about the things that we have done to the club and grounds since he hasn't been out there in two years. Another member took him out there for the day and he said it consumed him for the day. I think it was a big but very tiring for him.

After our visit we went out to the gun club so I could check on something for my membership duties. Gave my Mom the nickel tour around the grounds and then headed for home. We took her car today and got it washed and the road trip was good to get some highway miles on the engine. She just drives around town, maybe 2-3 miles here and there once a week.

Got home and then hubby arrived from work. Gathered up some stuff to take to the recyclers and got gas and such. Back home and went for our walk while it was nice and sunny. Going to work on some membership stuff for the club and then watch a movie. Tonight's DVD is "Real Genius".

Weight was 188.4 today. Still up, but getting back in the walking and eating groove. that should help. emoticon

We had lovely weather. Sunny but a bit breezy. We drove into Marshall, parked at the library, and walked to and from Subway for lunch. It was wonderful to get out in the neighborhoods. Today was colder and windier but still a nice walk. Walking against the wind was harder than walking with it.
