Cold weather, warm vacations

Wednesday, April 03, 2013

Today here is Pennsylvania it is cold. What happen to spring? I normally do not like the summer weather but this year I am looking forward to it. I have so many plans for vacation and am hoping to get out more to exercise to get this extra weight off of me. I drive a school bus so I am off for the summer when the kids get out of school. We are completely booked up for June already with softball tournaments and dance recitals. The the week after we have planned to go to Great Wolf Lodge which is an indoor water park. We are only going there for 3 days so it shouldn't be too bad plus I get to play in the water. Then June 30 we are heading to Florida where we will spend the week with my family, swimming, going to the beach, visiting the aquarium and having a party for July 4th. The on July 6th I am going on a cruise with my husband.. just the 2 of us.. with no kids... at all!!! I am so excited. It is finally coming together and I would love to lose as much weight as I can before vacation but since it is less than 3 months away I am hoping to lose at least 25 more pounds. I know I can do it as long as I keep motivated and look to the future.

It is cold in the UK too and was even snowing a bit this morning - not settling, but that is so unusual for this time of the year. Like you, I don't like the heat, but roll on summer. emoticon

It was cold here in Michigan today too, 38 degrees. I went for a run and the wind was about blowing me over. Hope it warms up soon.

It was cold this morning on Kauai....57 degrees. I'm sure not as cold as your "cold."
