Also a cool bean that twice round the company is a mile, hahaha, makes keepin track easy.

I need to get more into some strength trainin...If yer readin me ramble, drop me some ideas you use for workin the muscles!

    LOL @ Ken!! I would start out with body weight exercises.. Squats lunges dips etc.. SP has a ton of free videos to start out with.

    Great work with the walking. We walk the halls and up and down the stairs. There are six floors and stair wells on each end. We walk each floor 4 times 2 times going up 2 coming down. The rec aid worked out the measurments we are doing over a mile each time we do out routine. For strenght training I have picked upa a couple different dvds. also a excerise ball. Congrats on the walking.

    Good job on the walking! Here's an idea for strength training: Have a full set of weights and benches delivered to work, take some time to arrange them in an area that isn't already overcrowded. Put on some weightlifting gloves, crank up some uptempo music (hard rock or metal works well) and start lifting weights. Anytime someone comes over to see just what in the hell is going on, give them a "hard" look and say "you want to work in on this set, Nancy boy?".

    Now you can get your strength training in at work, just like the walking! Plus you'll earn a whole new reputation!

    Good for you! Like Kitty, I do wall push-ups or squats or lunges whenever I go to the bathroom. I don't know what you do for work but if you can set an alarm on your computer or something, set it for 25 minutes. After 25 minutes get up and walk around or do lunges or whatever else. emoticon

    I do squats or wall push-ups every time I got to the rest room here at work. At 20 a crack I can get 100 done in a day. It's a start.
