A thought I just had...

It's Tuesday!

I just had the craziest thought. But first: backstory!

We were supposed to go to the gym yesterday, husby and I. We were reeeeeally tired though, from commuting back from Easter pretty late. I would've still gone! Husby turned off his alarm and said "... I'm not going to the gym today."

WELL. Hmmm. This leaves me a dilemma. 1) drive 30 minutes to the gym by myself and do my ST like normal. 2) go SWIMMING. Of course I'm leaning towards swimming. Because I LOVE IT. But I need to do more ST...

By the time I finished debating this back and forth in my head and dozing off a little, it was too late to do either.

Couldn't go in the evening because 1) taxes and 2) grocery shopping.

This morning I had to get up even earlier than Gym Time (also know as The Earliest Time Ever) to drive husby to the airport for his business trip. Then I had to be at work early (7:30) so I just went straight there.

Boring story even more boring. Here is the point:

I'm tired, had a long day, and hungry. The pool opens in about a half hour, but I'm having the same debate: want swimming, should ST. I also have a lot of cleaning to do tonight because we have a houseguest tomorrow.

As I was fixing myself a snack, and pondering what exercise to do tonight and when (or whether I should just take a nap), I had this exact thought:

"Oh my God, I cannot believe I have not even worked out ONCE yet in April... I feel like such a slug."

And THEN. I realized.


So yeah.


Which means it has been two days.

I will probably go to the pool after my snack. Then wash dishes. Then maybe I will lift with my home dumbbells while I watch TV. Before all of April passes me by without exercise. Hahahahaha.

"Lifestyle change" indeed! Sometimes it's not even work. You will just randomly find yourself wondering when the heck you became That Girl/Guy.

Update! I took a nap after all. Haha! I'll activate Beast Mode tomorrow.

    Ha! you are too funny! Sometimes in my quest to do the RIGHT thing - I don't do anything... SWIM if it makes you happy. That's why I walk. OK, at some point I'll have to pump up the action - but at least if I promise to walk 10 minutes everyday I am consistent. And usually I make excuses to walk a little farther (I can be a little late for work today...) never would I have thought I'd make excuses to get MORE exercise! How the heck did THAT happen?

    Good thing I was already on the bed when I read this, I would have fallen over laughing! You DO realize there are strength exercises you can do in the pool, right? Just saying...

    And the worst part of the band size going down, is the dang cup size is going to go up if I can't start losing in the bust. Aargh! And I have to go get another size smaller undies! Yay? Apparently 50 pounds is 2 sizes, lol.
