Back in the Pool

Ah finally, surrounded by the supportive water. Oh how I missed being in the pool. My muscles will probably say "what are you thinking" but that will give way to making me stronger.

The following sparked me today:
On the FORUM: Staying Motivated

TOPIC: If You Can Only Do 1 Thing Today...

I plan on reading through the topics... there are some excellent questions posed. I have been posting to topics in the game room.
~ Something I am grateful for today.
~ Quick! What's the first word that comes to mind?
These just require a quick simple response and help keep me focused on my journey(yes the last on is just for fun) Perhaps seeing the Staying Motivated Forum is a sign for me to change things up a bit or add another question.

I give myself credit for...

I have changed, perhaps it is time to change what I do. What am I doing that no longer serves me? Time to let go of old habits and create some new. I have some work to do. :)

    Yes, Dr. Beck says to GIVE YOURSELF CREDIT. We often don't.

    Did you know Nancy is a name from Anna? The Nan part comes from it. Found that in the baby book when we were looking for name for my GD, Chanel Ava. My grandmother's name was Anna Margaret, so I was looking at Anna names. Funny to find that Daisy is a form of Margaret, which is French for Mary. But the name Maisie is a form and then Daisy. I had a wonderful SIL named Nancy. She died from a heart attack at age 55, as she was severly obese. Great person.

    You'll be running the show before you know it. In regards to reviewing habits, isn't it just a constant? Sigh. Our work is never done as there is always room for improvement. Be kind and you deserve a big whoopie button for getting back in the pool.

    It does feel great to get back to something you know works for you doesn't it?

    The pool is a great workout and sure saves the joints!!

    I'm going to have to follow your example and start using some of the rest of these motivational tools that Sparkpeople has to offer! Keep adding those links for me.

    I bet your muscles will re-adapt quickly to the pool! I was first directed to the "Staying Motivated" discussion board by SparkCoach, and have often returned there since, just finding it good to focus on questions relating to good health, motivation, moderation, etc!
