April Fool

Monday, April 01, 2013

I had to suffer the fool today. But that's all done, I hope, bro wasn't happy with me telling him I am leaving apt., and has been a royal pain. Anyway, today I showed apt twice and one of the people took it, so he won't be out anything with a new renter moving right in. He did more foolish things which were stupid, one dh and I have deemed "Farmer John kicking the fox in the henhouse"... no details, but conjure up in your mind and have a laugh.

Lots of rain tonite. Reading my book for the book club on Weds... Visited with my neighbor and walked down to the library to find it closed. Went shopping for furniture but didn't find anything that enthused us.

Off to bed, making lots of business calls tomorrow... only 9 more days till I move into my house....gotta rent a truck etc. busy times.

Sounds like a really positive move for you both, Lila, and I'm so happy for you. Moving itself is a pain, but once you're into your new place, it'll be wonderful.

I don't envy you having to move. Good luck. Both my girls are moving into new houses. Wishing I could be with both of them to help.

Are you buying a house or renting? I pray your move will go smoothly and that everything is smooth sailing from here on.

    Take care.
