I'm very disappointed to report that I have gained back every single pound I lost since joining SparkPeople. I guess the good news is, I haven't gained more than when I joined but geez, I feel like such a loser and am so depressed all! Ultimately, I am to blame...was on top of my game until about September of last year when I injured myself jogging (stress fracture). That's when I went from working out pretty much every day to hardly at all. Then, in November, I started the process of moving into a new was stressful and challenging to eat well. Lack of time & energy led to poor choices. But rather than dwell on the past, I am dusting myself off and trying again. Starting today. I have the following specific goals...

1. Track every single piece of food that goes in my mouth, no exceptions. Stop eating when I hit the max for the day no matter what!
2. Get up at 5AM Monday-Friday to get my workout in before work.
3. Aim to lose at least 3 pounds per week. If I succeed at this, I'll be 165 pounds by 4th of July.

I think that's good enough for now, I don't want to set my expectations too high because I'll fail. Anyway, SparkPeople will certainly help me to reach these goals. It's not that I can do it, it's that I will do it. I will be where I want to be by 4th of July. I will.

    So glad you are back. That's the most important thing. We all have setbacks and with a stress fracture and all of the other obstacles you've had, anyone of us would have had the same outcome. Good luck and I know you will be able to reach your goals!!!

    That's why I'm back, too, because I managed to gain back most of the weight I lost, too. I was doing pretty well but started too gain, again, the last few weeks due to a busy life, back injury, and Easter goodies that I couldn't resist. emoticon Good luck with your goals.

    It's good to set your goals...I have recently gained 40 lbs back after straying from Sparkpeople and plantar fascitis kept me from running emoticon Best of luck to you this month emoticon You can do this!!!! emoticon
