Nobody's Fool

Monday, April 01, 2013

Well, it's April 1st otherwise known as April's Fool Day. Time to begin a NEW MINI CHALLENGE which I have named appropriately "Nobody's Fool". However before I get into that, let me wrap up March's Challenge.

Peanut's Birthday Challenge went off without a hitch. I dropped 3 more lbs as of this morning bringing my total to 8 lbs for the month. emoticon My goal of 5 lbs was met and surpassed!! emoticon Definitely a positive way to start off my mini challenges.

Starting today as I mentioned above, I will begin a new mini challenge, Nobody's Fool. Since I did so well with my 5 lb goal last month, I have once again set a goal of 5 lbs for the month. After all I am a firm believer in"if it isn't broke, don't fix it!". emoticon

Now I know I listed a whole host of personal goals in a previous blog that I want to add to my lifestyle plan to help with issues such as emotional, anxiety related as well as health but honestly after the first week of last month's challenge I decided to place them on the back burning and keep my focus for the first challenge on eating right and MOVING MY HINEY! I think I began to feel nearly right away that I had bitten off more than I could chew (no pun intended), and really just needed to start with the basics. So I have adjusted my approach and therefore my plan. I will add only ONE NEW PERSONAL GOAL at a time and stick with that UNTIL I feel it has become habit, anywhere from 3 weeks to 3 months. This month, besides eating right and moving my hiney emoticon I will focus on TRACKING MY FOOD. Tracking has evaded me for many months now but I do believe it is of vital importance to the healthy lifestyle I want to adopt.

So for APRIL's Challenge:
I will eat healthy. emoticon
I will move my hiney. emoticon
I will track my food. emoticon

As for yesterday, Easter Sunday, it turned out to be a relatively nice day. DH and I enjoyed spending some time with the grandson and daughter after surviving the very real possibility Saturday that Sunday would end up a total disaster. *My daughter went completely off rails Saturday over a minor incident but recovered quick enough to salvage Easter. I am thankful that my grandson was able to enjoyed the day. He loved the Easter goodies we gave him and the egg hunt we hosted for hom as well as the bike and skateboard we gave him for his birthday. emoticon

Happy April!! Have an awesome week Sparklers! Make it a good one. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
