Happy Easter!!

I had a lousy night, but I've had a great day!
I kept pushing myself to watch one more show last night. I would start a show and fall asleep before it was over so when I woke up I would play it again from where I thought I left off and watch it till I finished it. Then I remembered I hadn't taken my meds or done my fitness yet because it had been such a busy day.
I plugged in my Zumba and got that done. By then I was wide awake and watched another show I had on DVR. Seems I don't get to watch much TV anymore since I spend so much time on here or walking or doing a fitness DVD when I'm not at work.
I spent the rest of the night sleeping in the chair. At least I woke up in time to get ready for church.
We had a wonderful drama at church this morning. It was really different. Used a mixture of actors and then actors behind screens in black. It was awesome. And I so love singing songs about the blood and the resurrection. It was a great time! My parents joined us.
We all went to lunch at Ruby Tuesdays. My daughter Amy's brother-in-law and father-in-law joined us. It started out a bit dicey. We had a 1:00 reservation and they couldn't seat us. I could have gotten over that, but the manager didn't seem to care. We go there fairly often and one of the servers who knows us came up and apologized. She cared more than he did. They finally pushed a table up against a booth and made that work. I would have been okay but the service stunk! We had a server we had never seen before. We had to ask for refills on our drinks. (one of my pet peeves) I figured if the food was as good as normal we would be fine. We were all good except my youngest Ariel. Her entree was cold and had to be sent back. They did comp her meal. At least the company was wonderful. I bought a cake for Steve's birthday (Amy's brother-in-law). I passed. Even though it was chocolate I didn't really mind. I had their Hickory Bourbon Salmon and grilled zucchini and roasted spaghetti squash. A total of 495 calories and DELICIOUS!! My splurge was 2 glasses of their fresh peach tea. I even skipped the biscuits.
Andrew and Danielle came and joined us after dinner was over so everyone could see Audrey in her Easter dress. The girls and I had spent time with her yesterday, but my parents hadn't had a chance to see her this trip yet. She was so adorable! I will post a picture later.
The kids had a piece of the birthday cake and we passed Audrey around for a little bit and pretty soon she was ready to eat. She's on a pretty solid schedule. Mom took her to the car. We finished our visit and by the time we were headed out Danielle was headed back in. We had a great time. The kids were going from there out to my ex's so he could have a little time with Audrey.
My mom bought me a giganitic chocolate cupcake decorated for Easter. I asked her what she was thinking, but thanked her. I brought it home. I cut a small piece out of it and then sent it home with Ariel.
Ariel had some over so we could watch Lincoln. I have to say at first I was a little drowsy. It wasn't a sit on the edge of your seat movie. As much as I love Lincoln, the movie was very much about the politics of getting the 13th Amendment passed. There were parts of it that were very moving, but much of it was just politics. However, I'm not sorry I bought it. The acting was outstanding! Ariel went home before it was over. She was falling asleep. She took the digital copy with her so she could watch it later on her computer.
Now, down to business...I had mentioned in an earlier blog that I had set a goal of being at 265 by Easter. I weighed in this morning at 264! Yippee! That's a total of 32 pounds. I'll take it.
I also hit another milestone this week. 1000 fitness minutes this month!! I think I'm more excited about that than I am about the weight loss. When I started to get close, I was really surprised. I just had to achieve it!! I guess that would be a NSV!
Well, I have to be at physical therapy at 8:30 in the morning, so I am determined to get to an actual bed tonight and get some sleep. I still have to get some fitness minutes in. Not too's Sunday. But I'm not breaking my streak, so I have to do something.

Blessings to you one and all
Keep on keepin on

Sounds like you had a more successful day than me. Mine started out good. I took my dad to have dinner with my mom at rehab- it was kind of cute. Then I was dying for a walk outside so I stopped and took a short 20 minute walk on a bike trail I used to walk when I was in better shape. So I was about 1/2 hour late to my mother in laws. The food was blah and overcooked- had some veggies and a small piece of ham. I know she cooks with butter so I had to estimate that. Had one dessert- an excellent coconut cupcake my niece made.

As day went on my tooth hurt more- I have had a tooth ache on and off for a couple weeks. I hate the dentist more than anything so never go until the last minute. I just want to get it pulled because it is loose already- probably just rotten- its in the back of my mouth-with new job starting I won't have time to go to dentist so I plan to have my husband's dentist just pull it but I am still procrastinating.

I never got to 1000min- I think I stopped at 945- I was very disappointed but now will plan ahead in April to make it.

Today I need to go to store for food but would like to go back to bed after I bring my son back and forth to college. Then later I go to see my mom at rehab.
I have a "spark streak" going there for 22 days in a row- LOL!

I think I will give myself permission to be a slug today but will still eat healthy and get my exercise and mom visit in. I hope you have a great Monday!
I know we can do it together- can't wait for Easter pics of Aubrey!
