That is what i am. I was doing so well and again got lazy. Maybe I'm going to hard and then I get disheartened as I wear myself out to quick. Maybe I just need to do what I love and go from there. Meaning, I love to walk long distance but feel that it isn't doing too much ( in the way of weight loss. Instead of trying to kill myself every day maybe just do weights then hiit every other day. I feel when I'm weight training that I'm not doing too much but I have researched and pparently that is the way to go. Tell me what you think. It is autumn here now and it's the best time of year to be out running, not too cold or too warm. All I know is that I feel crappy.

When I get into this kind of a funk, I think about what motivates me. Usually, spring and fall are my times that I want to run, so I usually do that a little more. If there's nothing that excites you then make a schedule (you really should anyways). Every day that you choose to work out, pick a new way to exercise. For example:

    Monday: 60 minutes of Zumba
    Tuesday: Rest
    Wednesday: Barre Workout
    Thursday: Long Walk
    Friday: Hiit & ST
    Saturday: Run
    Sunday: Yoga

There's a lot of variety. Once you find something you really want to do, then put that in a few more times a week. Also, if you're feeling crummy, let your body rest! It's probably telling you that it needs it.

You can do this. Don't be discouraged. Find new ways to get motivated.

    Dear LIL_EZZY,

I have heard on Spark People that strength training mixed with walking is what is recommended. I personally have a hard time with the strength training videos. I bought a Fitbit pedometer to keep track of my walking by steps. I do love it.

    Remember progress not perfection.

I have had a few days like that this week and I beat myself up because I was doing so good. It started on my daughters bday because we had hot dogs etc.....something quick and easy for everyone. Since then I feel like its been all down hill. But all we can do is get back on the wagon and do better and better etch day. Don't feel to down on yourself because you are not alone. Hope you had a wonderful Easter and a great week.
