Moving day

The house is sold and we are moving one week from today. My kids are getting an apartment and are taking me with them. We are going to a apartment complex that has swimming pools, a fitness center and lovely nature trails for walking. I am looking forward to summer where i can be more active and have a little fun.

My therapy is helping me to walk a bit. They have me doing some strength training to strengthen my core and help me with endurance. In doing that I am able to escape back pain and leg stiffness, with out medication. They tell me the stronger I get the less medication I will need to be pain free. So I am working very hard everyday because I don't like taking pills and this overs me a chance not to have to do so. I have been to 4 sessions out of 16 and I am starting to feel better. I can now work 6 hours on my feet with much less pain. I will continue these exercises after therapy is over and try other strength training as well as continuing my cardio. With any luck I will be able to do cardio with out a chair.

One day at a time, with the hope of continual improvement.
