Not Getting Mail

Sunday, March 31, 2013

Found out why I'm not getting mail. I went to Start, and checked under 'E-mail' this was noted:

You are no longer receiving emails from SparkPeople because at one point your email provider reported that yours was not a valid email address.

If you are not receiving emails and you have entered a valid address, click here to reset your email address and we will start sending emails to your address the next day.

Wished I'd noticed this yesterday. so, guess I'll start getting mail tomorrow

I struggle with this often! If your ISP kicks your email back as spam, or there are issues with them receiving SparkPeople mail for any reason this can happen.

The spot you indicated is one of a few that need to be checked.

Scroll down a bit further on the email tab from your preferences and there is a little tine checkbox that says "never email me again" - uncheck that.

On the first page of your preferences scroll down again, the "allow notifications" needs to be checked

Hey Courti, I stopped getting my Spark emails and all my BLC notifications yesterday. It's driving me crazy not to know when my team posts or emails me! I've checked that all the correct email preferences are checked. I'm getting the Daily Spark, and Daily Spark recipe but no chat thread or email or goodie notifications.

After reading your blog I re-entered my email address and saved it, hope that does the trick! Let me know if you start receiving them again.
