Something happened in February...

Oh dear. Where do I begin...?

Well, very late one night in February, I remembered that I wanted to squeeze in at LEAST one blog entry for the month. I wrote (and dozed:) and wrote. And I tried to save and post my entry. And I couldn't get it to post. And then it finally seemed to post... after midnight making it March rather than Feb. Wah. And now (obviously it's been awhile since I've peeked at my blog page...) it seems not to be here at all :( Alas.

I'm not sure what I wrote about then, but I know that in this month of March, I've had a bit of trouble staying Sparked. I have not dropped below 90 minutes of cardio per week, which I actually feel pretty good about, but that is ExTremely low for me. I just reviewed my Jan. post and was reminded that I started the Diabetes Weightloss Challenge. I didn't really connect with that program and after trying it for a week or two I switched to the Spring Into Fitness Challenge. I really enjoyed the videos and was going strong for awhile, but I got sick and then got a computer virus which crashed my computer RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE of one of my workouts!! By the time I got my computer back online I was on round two of "exhausting lung virus" and was out of my early morning routine. At some point I figured out that the whole computer crashing my workout left a bad taste in my mouth and I decided to take to the streets.... of my neighborhood. It was starting to get a tiny bit warmer outside and I started walking around the neighborhood during the time in the morning when I had been doing my challenge videos. That was working well for awhile, but I had some stressful days at work which led to some stressful nights and lost sleep and suddenly that alarms seemed SO early. I've still made it out a few times a week and as we like to say here... I never regret a workout! I have still been hovering about 2-4 lbs UNDER my most recent "pause here" weight. Woohoo! All that being said, I'd like to step back up the cardio and the strength training. I'm still cautiously optimistic about restarting the 5K My Way training. :) I Actually Miss Running! :D
