The Social End of Spark

Saturday, March 30, 2013

This is going to make a huge difference for me. This time around, I am making the effort to visit my teams forums. Not only am I posting on threads, I am also reading comments. I am taking the plunge and adding Sparkers as friends. I am taking the time to read their blogs. By putting forth this effort, I have received great advice, encouraged, and motivated. This was a part of Spark I am doing much differently this time. Part of my reinvention. Reach out to others, for help and encouragement is always one click away. I am so glad I am making this part of my journey a top priority.

It makes a huge difference. My first time around I didn't reach out either either and tried to do it on my own. It was so difficult. It's easier with support and with friends. For me, the hardest part about being "the fat one", about making this journey is that no one really knows what it's like. Unless you have walked this walk you don't really know about the every day little things that a person can come up against. Having others who know what it's like is crucial. I am glad you have found the advice and encouragement you were looking for!

There is nothing like having a lot of friends to go to when we need encouragement and to share the wonderful moments with as well.
    Keep on inviting others.

It does help to get a crew of Sparkfriends behind you. I've also been on Spark before with much success, but then I stopped. Here's to a new start for both of us!
