First Four Weeks of Commitment: Portrait of progress

Saturday, March 30, 2013

It is four weeks since I kicked it back in gear.
Rather than brow beat myself about what I didn't do, I am looking at what I did do, and the progress.

20 out of 30 days I did an official set of physical therapy exercises, and have reinstated using weights.

I lost one pound.

I lost 3 inches.

I have gotten on my recumbent bike 3 times.

I have used the wii fit balance board 4 times.

I have used Wii Bowling twice.

I have walked a total of 18.75 miles

I have biked in one place a total of 8.3 miles

I am eating more fruits and veggies than a month ago.

One month ago the score for all these things except some fruits and veggies, and some walking would be zilch.

Onward to April!

"We must not, in trying to think about how we can make a big difference, ignore the small daily differences we can make which, over time, add up to big differences that we often cannot foresee."

The joy of seeing how many everday heroes there really are, if we only look.....

As far as your last blog and pain, have you ever tried self hypnosis with your prayer...instead of a 'get the behind me satan' you slowly do it with the pain.....
