Well, Easter for me and my family really isn't about the bunny nor the eggs, it is all about our faith in Jesus, and we celebrate his death and Resurrection. I actually plan to hike a "mountain" on Easter morning with my sister in law and a couple other girls (Haven't hiked in years), yet it is undeniably a fact that chocolates pop up everywhere at Easter time. It has also always been a part of life when growing up... and I did buy some bunnies (they were on sale and how can say no to Swiss chocolate??)
One bunny for each of us, so that means there is one for me as well. One bunny, no other chocolates (at least for me, the kids will have a couple little chocolate eggs... and two big ones from their favourite aunty... we will have a night time Ester egg hunt by the way, it involves glow in the dark sticks but I digress...).
So, me and my bunny... 100g of good quality Swiss chocolate. What will I do with it??? I told myself that I can eat it in what ever fashion I want... either in one day, or in 30... that's up to me... I won't count the calories of that bunny... yet I do so hope that I have learned something in the course of the last 3 months: to enjoy a bite and truly taste it and not stuff myself stupid in one setting.
Well, I'll keep you posted about me and my bunny...it's ain't no Sunday yet, so it isn't really MY bunny yet anyways....
