Loss for the week- 1.6 lbs

I'll take 1.6 pounds but I would be lying if I said I hadn't wished for more. Not a lot more but I was hoping for an even 2. I was hoping for a big loss the first couple of weeks the way i have had in the past (I wish that this wasn't my umpteenth round of weight loss) but I guess once you hit 40 things don't happen like that. So I'll take 1.6 and be very happy. And hope for a similar result next week.

This weekend will present the challenge of Easter candy and dinner but I think it's under control. I bought the kids tiny chocolate Easter Bunnies and minimal candy- a few gummies. So I won't be tempted to help them get through it all. My husbands addiction to Reese's Peanut Butter eggs are a harder thing to resist.

I also planned a reasonable Easter dinner. Ham, lemon and thyme potatoes, asparagus and of course deviled eggs. More indulgent than an everyday meal but certainly not over the top. The hardest part of the day will be not eating too many deviled eggs. They are so yummy.

Have a happy, healthy weekend and Easter!

Enjoy your weekend!! The weight you lose will fluctuate all the time. As long as it goes down you are on track. Even if it's less than a pound it's still a loss!! Enjoy your holiday!

It is harder to lose weight when you get older, but not impossible . And as for the Reese's eggs, at least they have peanut butter in them, protein. Candy is hard to resist, I am glad I don't have little ones around.Good luck. Your dinner sounds yum yum yummy. Have A great Easter.
