New day :)

Not sure if it was a combo of "that time of the month" hormones, or the full moon, or what, but boy did I have a rough night last night. Super depressed, feeling like a failure, and just feeling like crap all around (my own little pity party as I like to call it.) And the thing is.. I'm not even really "failing" at anything right now. I don't know why I get so down on myself sometimes. Oh well... I slept it off and felt great this morning. Woke up, cleaned my apartment, managed to squeeze in a load of laundry AND go to the gym before work. Spent about 15 minutes trying to figure out the puzzle of how to fit my new bike into the backseat of my car. No clue how the sales guy yesterday did it so quickly. I was already sweating by the time I got to the gym. I am going biking tomorrow/Saturday with a couple of friends near Chicago. Apparently there are some paved/dirt trails around some lakes and forest preserve, so I am TOTALLY looking forward to taking advantage of the nice weather this weekend by doing something I absolutely love and haven't been able to do in years because I didn't have a bike. I am also thankful that I have friends in the area that enjoy to do stuff like that as well. I ran another half mile today and it barely phased me. Baby steps! Can't wait until I can say I can run a mile without it phasing me! Weighed myself when I got home before a shower and another pound has vanished for good. I can't believe how easy the weight is falling off this time. I am curious to see how I will feel/look in a month, two months, six months! Summer might actually be enjoyable for me this year :)
