Lost Weight...but...

I woke up this morning ....in deep thought.... there are many hurdles in life that can effect weight loss.... and I think one of the biggest hurdles is just that i take EVERYTHING im dealing with emotionally.....and i surpress it all..... and that has impacted my life in many ways.... ( lol) It's weird because I want the best for m friends and family but I can't solve everyones issues.... I'm at the point today where I'm just focused on me...and slowly trying to exhale alot that i have just surpressed.... Catering to ppl and there needs, wants ...its exhausting.. I stepped on the scale and the number should have been pleasing but it wasn't ...becausealthough I've had a significant loss .. I know alot of it is due to stress...... So I'm taking ME time for the month of April.. just taking time out to discover what physical activities excite me !!!! and keep up with what I've started...

Sparkers !! do you ever feel overwhelmed trying to be there for everyone and there needs that you just forget about you ??? What are things that you do to make sure you have "ME TIME"

    You definitely need to make yourself a priority. Sounds like a great goal for April! And once you get used to having a little time to yourself, it will be easier to incorporate throughout the year. emoticon

    Yes, and since my nest became empty it's easier for me to have me time, since I'm the only one there. I deal with everyone during my day. My evenings are mind. My gym time is mine. I've had folks ask me about going to the gym, but I'm selfish with it. I tell them I'm there from this time to that time approximately and it's a public gym they can come if they want. But because I won't volunteer to pick them up, wait for them or meet them so far no one has shown up. I found you have to be selfish sometimes to get "me time". Or else you run the risk of derailing your health, your peach of mind, you sanity. Place boundaries and rules that can't be broken unless it's an 911 event! You need 'me time' to survive

    Schedule your "me time" until it becomes a habit for you....put it in your calendar and stick to it...no "rescheduling"...everyone will have to get used to it and they will...you have to do it for you!!! emoticon
