Rest Day

Wednesday, March 27, 2013

I have literally done nothing in the form of exercise today. I really needed it today. Yesterday was an "extreme" workout day. I'm feeling my back from Cardio Kickboxing last night.

I'm working on incorporating my rest days on a weekly basis instead of my normal "collapse" basis!! LOL

In the morning, I will talking to 3 classes of 20 third graders about my career. Ok, I won't totally be talking, but they won't know that until we get up and move & groove to some great music!

I did a 5 minute cardio blast for a full semister at Cassidy's elementary school. The kids were settled down for the rest of the day. They were focused. Their grades went up! Need I say anymore? Exercise is not only good for the body, but for the brain!

Game Plan:
8 mile run
Douglas Elementary in KC, Ks
pump class
grocery shopping!!

1. Fun teaching CPR this morning
2. Very productive afternoon
3. Enjoyed my rest day!

Strong Mind, Strong Body, Stay the Course!

I think you're right that you need to incorporate rest days in there. When I was working out daily, I tried to make at least 1 day a week a rest day. It worked well I think. I'll get back there soon I'm sure. Keep up the awesome work!
