time warp ...wasted time

Tuesday, March 26, 2013

Today, I slept from 1230 pm until 0600, woke up got the kids to school and promptly went back to bed and slept till 1000. I then wasted the next 1 1/2 hours leisurely drinking coffee and getting sucked into facebook, pinterest, and a sparkpeople. I then ventured to walmart, where I spent the next 2 hours in pure hell trying to avoid those people in motorized carts, stockers who insist on blocking the aisles and those annoying people who insists on stopping to talk in front of every single item I needed.

On a good note, I did manage to throw dinner in the crockpot this morning, stock up with some healthy stuff for the week, do day 5 of the 30 day shred, go to the post office and mail my CHL stuff, throw the football around with the boy, do 2 loads of laundry, sweep the entire house, mop the kitchen and get dinner ready.

Not bad for a day off.

Sumay..I'm sure it wasn't you.:) I live in small town Texas and it's hard to run to the store without running into someone you know. The problem is that we are very friendly and chatty despite being smack dab in the middle of the cereal aisle! I'm guilty of it to, but it sure can be a time suck when you are in a hurry!

Sounds like you had a pretty good day - despite the time wasters that many of us try to avoid - but just can't seem to. Don't get me started on Pinterest!

If I stood in front of you today while talking in WalMart - I apologize - truly, I do. Yes, I was there - and we have days when the kids always seem to be in someone's way.
