Picture the amount of weight you've lost so far in a way that you can really visualize it—maybe you've lost a set of 20-pound dumbbells, a few cans of soup or the weight of your dog! Feel the heaviness of that weight and be proud of how far you've come!

Well, at this point, it's only 10lbs. But I'll bet if I stopped saying "only" 10lbs and really looked at how much that is, I'd feel more accomplished. Heck, a 10lb bag of potatoes is a lot.

My dog weighs 10 pounds. I wouldn't want to have to carry her around the block.

And what if you imagine a pound of butter- 4 sticks of butter- for each pound lost?

So 40 sticks of butter piled up??

I imagine it melts to oil and flows down a huge hole like the Grand Canyon where it can't ever come back again!!

When I had lost 45 pounds, I put 4 10 pound barbells in my rolly box, and 2 zumba sticks. I planned to be a parade of one and roll it around the block, advertising my weight loss. I couldn't get the box over the hose and down the driveway. And I was carrying all that weight around on my body all the time. No wonder I was fatigued all the time.

Now go find a 10 lb bag of potatoes and go pick it up. That is the best feeling to be able to really feel how much you were carrying around. 10 lbs is a lot!! Good work! Keep it up!!!!
