The cook in me...

Sunday, March 24, 2013

I had no idea I would ever like to one is more shocked by this than I am!!

I have had a great time following and adapting recipes, chopping things, mincing things and eating things!! YAY!!!

I have a lot coming up as far as goals go...

I want to get in to a size 6 in everything. I am a size 6 in a lot of things...some size 8's would not be acceptable because they would be too baggy...I'm kind of a size 7...that is my ultimate goal for sizes. I would still love to shake the last 4 lbs that won't come off (cause I'm not shaking enough!)...but I have a new exercise goal...

There is a glow run in Omaha on August 17th, a 5K, and I want to do it...with out walking. Running is good...jogging is just fine...but I don't want to walk...sooooo...I'm starting the Couch to 5K soon. I'm excited about that! Well, as excited as I can be about running.

I am still Zumba-ing a lot, and I'm STILL loving it!! I am adding in some strength training and then, of course the running. I'm going to throw some kick boxing in my mix too...we'll see if I have enough balance for that! LOL!!

I will update here...because it will keep me honest :) and we'll see how the next 20 weeks of preparing goes!!

Hope everyone is healthy and happy!

Until next time friends...

Good luck being a size anything all the time. Every brand is so different, some brands are different in different styles. Even if I am buying two identical garments (like jeans) I try them on. I remember buying three pair of jeans 30" inseam one time, and when I got them home I measured them. All were different. And that's one of the few measurements I can make. Very frustrating.
