Ready for the week!

Sunday, March 24, 2013

I went to the grocery store today to shop for the week ahead. I got all my veggies and fruits and now I feel prepared. =)

Oh gosh, I checked out a new grocery store called Harris Teeter that opened up in a ritzy area not too far away. The prices were sooooo high. I just walked around it and then left to go to my normal grocery store. I'm sorry, I'm not paying almost 5 dollars for a loaf of bread. Crazzzzzy! Lol.

Hmm, not much else to say. I guess I'll go get ready to make dinner. lol.

I'll let you guys know how my new shoes are tomorrow. =)

I don't remember Food Town. lol. My fav grocery store is called Shoppers. I think they are only in Maryland. I like to go to Aldi for things like milk and eggs, etc. Nice small grocery store and good on prices!

Harris Teeter in our town closed down. They do have some nice weekly specials, but you have to be careful when shopping there. I personally like our Food Lion, but Ingles is my favorite. While they tend to run a bit higher they are closer and have some products Food Lion doesnt carry. Do you remember when Food Lion was Food Town?

Lots of good groceries! I go to Harris Teeter occasionally, but we have Wegman's which is MUCH nicer and MUCH less expensive. They have all the fancy gourmet and hard to find stuff, but they are oodles cheaper on their staples than our "regular" grocery stores are.
