My Quick and Easy Meal Ideas

Breakfast:

I use Pumpernicle or Sour Dough Bread toasted with either Light Cream Cheese or Peanut Butter on it. I have used Light Velveeta melted on occasion.

Another idea that I use for Breakfast is Whole Wheat English Muffin with Fat Free Sandwich Cheese, poached Egg and Turkey Sausage (1 patty). This is very good and close to Mac Donalds' breakfast sandwich.

I also use Steel Cut Oatmeal with various fruits cooked in it. I make it in the slow cooker and then just have to warm it in the microwave in the mornings.

These are just a few of my meals. Of course I always add a dairy serving and fruit as well. I have Low Sodium V-8 every morning so that I always have a vegetable serving at breakfast. I like to have a cup of Decaf Coffee as well. I have drunk Decaf ever since I had a TIA about 5 years ago.

I als0 have to limit my sodium (Dr.s orders) due to a severe fluid retention problem that I have had for years.

    Thanks for the ideas. I love the steel cut oatmeal with raspberries. I sometimes add a packet of stevia to my berries, but not always. Keep blogging emoticon
