Sea World and Mexican

Friday, March 22, 2013

Today was supposed to be Sea World and the beach. We were going to cook hotdogs and fresh veggies over the campfire. But, my BIL likes to take forever in moving so we are almost always late in leaving and today was no different. We wanted to leave by 9am but didn't leave til closer to 11. When we did finally get to leave, we had to go to the Air Force base to get our discounted tickets. (My BIL is in the Air Force.) So when we finally got to Sea World, we were way off schedule We were kinda hoping to leave the park by 3 at the latest to head to the beach. We didn't leave the park til 5:30 so by the time we got home, got our stuff and the dog, we weren't going to get to the lake until at least 7. So, everyone decided on staying at the house and playing games and cooking our food on the grill. Then we found out we didn't have charcoal so they decided we'd go out for our Mexican food after all :/ It was a really fun day, but I was looking forward to the fresh grilled veggies! Oh well, I didn't do too bad at dinner. I had baked cod, shrimp, a salad, some charro beans and some Spanish race. I know I could have, and should have done without the rice, but I didn't eat lunch because all the park had was park food. Oh well, here are some pictures from the day, including one of my sister and BIL eating some of that park food. He kept offering me some and as much as I wanted to say yes please, I said no thank you. :)

I'm glad you had so much fun at the park! Maybe the next night can be grilled veggies.

Great job and saying no to the park food! :) It looks tempting but I can only imagine how many calories that would be.
